Cosmetics

In order to commercialise cosmetic products in Italy the company is required to communicate certain details to the Ministry of Health. A technical dossier based on documentation provided by the client is also required in order to comply with the ministerial demands.

• Provide clients with the texts/points of interest of all new laws and directives
• Systematise the printed material (labels, leaflets etc.) in accordance with the current laws in Italy
• Advise on the most appropriate method of notification
• Verify whether the product can be commercialised in Italy
• Examine the documentation and arrange, where necessary, the application for commercialisation
• Integrate the material with any necessary additions that may be required by the Italian Ministry
• Translate the necessary documentation required by the ministerial offices
• Follow up the ministerial proceedings
• Prepare and sign the technical dossier
• Arrange for the import application each time a company wishes to send products to Italy
• Accompany personnel from companies to meetings with personnel from the Ministry of Health or other Italian entities
